Reliable, flexible wind turbines
Our onshore and offshore wind turbines have been developed with as few components as possible. This reduces the chance of failure, while a high-efficiency ‘permanent magnet generator’ to guarantee continuous high-quality power output.
They also demonstrate power flexibility with zero power-grid impact. The outstanding high and low voltage ride-through capabilities means they’re easily adapted to power grids anywhere.
With greater efficiency in mind, our wind turbines are also designed without gears, so no oil changes are required. This reduces maintenance too.

Goldwind turbines operate all over the world, our R&D centres have to be located globally. This allows them to develop, test and improve turbines that continuously function in 45 to -30 degrees centigrade, at altitudes up to 4,000m and even withstand earthquakes up to magnitude 8.0.

Goldwind smart wind turbines have been selected for the proposed Bashan Wind Farm. This was decided after extensive testing of multiple turbine models for optimum performance, based on the site topography and wind conditions.
The preferred models are the GWH 182-7.2MW and GWH 182-8.0MW wind turbines.
These turbines can deliver twice the energy output when compared to turbines at the adjoining Cattle Hill Wind Farm, using fewer turbines, which results in significantly less disturbance to the environment.
