All over Australia,
all in for the long haul
Goldwind is the largest renewable energy company you’ve probably never heard of
Goldwind has developed and manufactured the smartest wind turbines on the planet before exporting the technology all over the world.
Goldwind Australia was established in 2009. It has completed 10 wind, solar and battery projects, including the Cattle Hill Wind Farm in the Central Highlands.
In total, Goldwind Australia has added 2 GW of wind power generation to the Australian grid, and with two projects underway, that’s set to increase in the foreseeable future.

Plan, build & operate responsibly
Some companies plan wind farms, some build and don’t operate. When they do it all themselves, they make sure it’s all done exceedingly well.

Planning sustainable projects
Right from the start Goldwind engages planning and environmental specialists, ensuring projects are not only compliant but also reach sustainability objectives. Sites are assessed to match the right suite of products for local wind conditions, to optimise performance and minimise impact.

Building to the highest of standards
Using local contractors where possible, Goldwind fully project manages the build. This includes site preparation, civil works, turbine installations through to grid connection. It’s often the case that we set best practices in this industry and often exceed industry standards, because these projects will run for decades. Goldwind has made a commitment by signing the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Projects.

Operating smart and efficient
Another benefit of this approach is if something goes wrong, Goldwind knows how to fix it immediately. There are no third parties to call, no external contractors and no waiting around for someone who knows what they’re doing. Goldwind uses smart tools to monitor the turbines, and we are continuously improving the technology to optimise the performance of wind farms.
Plan, build & operate responsibly
Goldwind recruits, trains and employs people from the local community to work on its projects. Over 200 Goldwind employees work across Australia. They are part of a 10,000 strong global workforce. 3,000 experts work purely on research & design to continuously improve on its technology, products, and service to the communities.
